Composition Test Mid Term Final Other if Other: Please make a selection.
A qualified proctor must be chosen by the student to supervise his/her exam. The proctor must be someone who adheres to a code of conduct in his/her profession. Examples of a qualified proctor are:
The proctor may not be a friend, relative or someone who reports to the student in a work context. In all cases, the distance education office must approve the proctor before an exam will be forwarded. Exams will be mailed directly to the proctor (not the student).
When the proctor receives the exam, the student and proctor can arrange a convenient time for the student to write the exam. The exam is then given back to the proctor to be returned by mail/email/fax to the distance education office. An exam must be w ritten within three weeks of the proctor receiving the exam, and it must be returned to the distance education office as soon as the student has completed the exam. Exams not written and returned within the time allotted are subject to a failure on that examination.
It is extremely important that a student choose a proctor who will carefully administer the exam according to the guidelines established. Exams are not returned to the student, but a grade notification will be received.
